Heads Up Football Overview NEW - A parent and player Heads Up Football presentation will be conducted on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Robinson Secondary at 6 p.m. This is for parents and players. Proper Nutrition and Hydration
Proper nutrition and hydration is paramount to the success of any athlete. Nutrition and hydration happens off the football field. While coaches provide water breaks in practice, proper hydration happens at home. To learn more about how to properly feed and hydrate, please visit these links:
Avoid caffeine and energy drinks. Note: The Virginia High School League has banned the use of energy drinks by high school student-athletes and the Fairfax County Youth Football League has banned the use of energy drinks and drinks containing significant amounts of caffeine by players on the sidelines during games.
