BIO: Three children who are all year around sports lovers - Easton (Football, 7v7 Football, Wrestling, Soccer); Brady (Football, Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Gymnastics); Kinley (Soccer, Basketeball, Gymnastics, Tennis). Both Easton and Brady play BRYC Tackle Football. I went to Virginia Tech for B.S. and M.B.A. and now work at one of the leading Technology & Management Consulting firms supporting the U.S. Government's cybersecurity missions.
Philosophy: Football is the ultimate sport - it teaches physical and mental toughness, working together with a diverse group of teammates, overcoming struggles to achieve goals, building confidence that anything is possible through hard work. At the youth level, I focus on building fundamentals and teaching all kids different position knowledge since their bodies will continue to change - and the positions they play in youth will likely be different than what they play in high school and beyond.
Background: I grew up in Centreville and played youth football in the NVYFL for 6 years. Went to Centreville High School as a 4-year varsity player (3-year varsity starter), where we won 4 District Championships, 3 Regional Championships, and the 2000 State Championship. Broke the Centreville HS record for tackles in a season (156) and named First Team All-State (AP). Also, All-State Wrestler and Power Lifter (425 bench, 550 squat, 550 dead lift) at Centreville HS. Went on to play football as a walk-on at Virginia Tech.
